As a strategic business partner of the Center
of Excellence for Workforce Development:
- The business identifies job openings
- The coalition will pre-screen &
identify qualified candidates
- The business is under no obligation
to interview or hire any candidates
- If a candidate is hired, the
coalition will provide
customized support based on the needs of the business and
the employee that
may include:
- Information about potential
tax credits
- Proactive support for the
employee and supervisor during the recruitment and
interviewing process
- Job coaching based on the
needs of the employee and business
- Work site consultation and
training on disability awareness
- Work site training provided
free to individuals hired if necessary and desired
- Assistance if there is a
performance issue if desired and requested
- The coalition will recognize
outstanding businesses
As a strategic employment service provider partner
of the Center of Excellence for Workforce Development it will:
- Conduct a robust assessment of a
candidate’s needs, skills and interests
- Work with the candidate to develop an
impactful resume
- Develop a customized employment plan
(reflects individuals wants and interests)
- Work with the candidate to review job
postings and potential matches
- Recommend qualified candidates for a
specific job
- Work with the Center of Excellence
for Workforce Development to schedule a screening interview
- Identify other potential job
opportunities if the current postings are not a good fit
- Work with the candidate to prepare
for the interview with the business
- If a candidate is hired, provide
customized
post-employment follow-up/job retention services based on the
needs of the business and the employee that may include:
- Information about potential

- Proactive support for the

- Job coaching based on the
needs of the employee and business
